Grounds Rentals

Franklin County Saddle Club offers grounds rentals for equestrian events, clinics, and community activities that align with the club’s mission and objectives. Our facility provides multiple arenas, trail course access, stalls, RV accommodations, and clubhouse space, making it a versatile location for a variety of events.

All rentals are subject to approval by Franklin County Saddle Club, Inc., and must be in harmony with the purpose and best interests of the club and its facilities.

Rental Information

The renter may reserve specific areas of the facility based on event needs. Available rental options include:

  • Riding Arenas
  • Trail Course
  • Downstairs and Upstairs Clubhouse
  • Stalls
  • RV Hookups and Dry Camping
  • Tractor and Arena Groomer (with approval)

Rental availability, fees, and amenities are outlined in the Grounds Rental Agreement and Schedule “A.”

Rental Requirements

All renters must:

  • Complete and sign the Grounds Rental and Hold Harmless Agreement
  • Submit reservation and damage deposit fees with the signed contract
  • Provide proof of liability insurance naming Franklin County Saddle Club as additional insured at least 30 days prior to the event
  • Obtain any required licenses or permits related to the event
  • Maintain orderly conduct and comply with all club rules and posted policies

Setup, Cleanup, and Facility Use

Arenas are typically available for setup beginning at 6:00 PM the evening prior to the scheduled event or 12:00 PM for half-day rentals. Renters are responsible for preparing arenas during the event and returning the facility to the same condition in which it was received.

Cleanup must be completed by 9:00 AM the morning following the event unless otherwise arranged. Renters are responsible for garbage removal, securing buildings, closing gates, and returning any keys issued.

Fees and Deposits

Rental fees vary depending on the areas reserved and length of the event. Reservation and damage deposit fees are required with the signed contract. Additional fees may apply for:

  • Arena rentals (full day or half day)
  • Trail course use
  • Stall rentals
  • RV hookups and dry camping
  • Haul-in horses

Insurance and Liability

Renters are responsible for providing proof of liability insurance covering the duration of setup, the event itself, and cleanup. The renter agrees to hold Franklin County Saddle Club harmless from claims or damages arising from the use of the facility during the rental period.
