Membership

We have one of the finest horse facilities in our area. As a member you will be able to participate in a wide variety of club activities and enjoy personal use of the grounds at your leisure.

The Franklin County Saddle Club was established in 1956 to preserve a premium equine facility where our members can enhance their horsemanship increase education and enjoy fellowship with other like minded individuals.

Membership is based on the calendar year, with memberships running from January 1st through December 31st each year. Membership dues can be paid in two ways: A propitiating membership is a flat rate one time fee per year; a regular membership is a lower rate that comes with an annual requirement of volunteer hours which can be fulfilled in many different ways:

  • Assisting with work parties doing painting, spring/fall cleanup, general repairs and maintenance
  • Helping with fundraising activities such as educational clinics, shows, facility rentals, tack swaps and other activities
  • Mowing & Weeding

General membership meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the clubhouse upstairs. Meetings are an excellent place to network with other members and to enjoy the friendship and camaraderie with people who enjoy a common bond with horses!
