Franklin County Saddle Club hosts a variety of events and activities throughout the year, providing opportunities for members and the community to connect through horsemanship, education, and fellowship.
General Membership Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, with the exception of July, August, and December. Meetings take place upstairs in the clubhouse. Members are invited to join us for dinner and social time beginning at 6:30 PM, followed by the business meeting at 7:00 PM. These meetings are where club business is conducted, future improvements and events are discussed, and member input helps guide the direction of Franklin County Saddle Club. Weekly Arena Use & Practices
Our grounds are regularly utilized by a variety of equestrian groups and individual riders:
WAHSET practices are typically held on Sundays beginning at 11:00 AM.
A small lesson group meets Tuesday through Sunday mornings, weather permitting.
Several 4-H groups also use the facility for practice and skill development.
Arena use operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and we strive to maintain a welcoming environment for all users. Please remember to close all gates and clean up after your visit to help keep the facility safe and well maintained.
Annual Club Events
Annual Vaccine Clinic
Franklin County Saddle Club hosts an annual Vaccine Clinic to support the health and care of our equine community. This clinic provides an opportunity for members and guests to schedule routine vaccinations and preventative care services in a convenient group setting. Clinic details and sign-up information will be posted on the Events Calendar as they become available.
Annual Tack Swap
Each year, Franklin County Saddle Club hosts a Tack Swap where riders and community members can buy, sell, and trade new or gently used equine equipment, apparel, and horse-related items. This event provides a great opportunity to connect with fellow horse enthusiasts and support the equestrian community. Event details and setup information will be listed on the Events Calendar prior to the event.
Events & Grounds Rentals
Franklin County Saddle Club hosts multiple sponsored horse events throughout the year. In addition, the grounds may be rented by outside organizations and programs. During scheduled events or rentals, portions of the facility may be temporarily closed to general membership riding.
